Born February 13, 1912 in Cook County to the late Daniel Nathaniel and Elizabeth Lipsey Hayes, she was a homemaker and member of Adel United Methodist Church. She was married to the late Robert Leon Lipsey. Survivors include two grandchildren, Randy Lipsey of Nashville and Brian Lipsey of Oviedo, FL; four great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services were held March 21 at 2 p.m. at Adel United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Land officiating. Joanna Cooksey served as organist, and Irma Kirby sang "Precious Memories" and "Amazing Grace." Other selections played included "Abide With Me" and "When They Ring Those Golden Bells." Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Brian Lipsey, Chris Lipsey, Randy Lipsey, Jason Romendio, Shane Lipsey, Donald Hayes. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
