Little, 89, of Adel died September 28, 2007 at Memorial Hospital of Adel. Born August 4, 1918 in Lanier County, she lived most of her life in Cook County. She was the daughter of the late James Olen Fender and Matilda Gaskins Fender and was retired owner and operator of Little's Bait and Tackle. She was a member of First Assembly of God and was married to the late Howard Little. Survivors include one daughter, Dewanne Early of Adel; grandson and wife, Audie and Rhonda Rowe, great-grandson, Jordan Rowe of Adel; step-granddaughter and husband, Lynn and Don Gandy of Sparks; step-great-grandchildren, Jana Elizabeth Gandy and R.J. Gandy both of Sparks. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Katie Ann Rowe. Funeral services were held September 30 at 4 p.m. at First Assembly of God, Adel, with Rev. Harris Whitman officiating. Charlotte Dickerson served as pianist and Reba Spradley sang "Precious Memories" and "Amazing Grace." Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Nelson Greene, Jeff Rowe, Jamie Chapman, Ron Purvis, Greg Greene, Steven Purvis. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
