He was born December 13, 1924, in Lenox to the late William Horton and Agnes Allen Lott. He attended Sparks-Adel High School, was a former Georgia State Representative, retired Superior Court Judge for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit, and had been awarded lifetime Jude Emeritus status. He was a member of St. Mary Margaret Catholic Church, an Army veteran of WWII, Mason and Shriner. He was preceded in death by a sister, Hattie Tomlinson and a brother, James Olin Lott. He is survived by his wife, Stella Venegas Lott of Cali, Columbia, South America; so, Lynn Lott Bennett of Adel; two sisters, Florence Sumner of West Berrien and Kate V. Jones of Lenox; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was held August28 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Dillard Ensley and Father Freddie Angel officiating. Entombment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery. A Rosary service was held August 27 at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
