 Vera Nell Morrison, 66, of Adel died February 24, 2004 at South Georgia 
Medical Center in Valdosta.

 Born December 18, 1937 in Cook County to the late Marvin Franklin and Vera 
Tyson Murphy, she was a retired secretary for the Cook County High School 
vocational department. She was a member of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church.

 Survivors include her husband, Roy Morrison of Adel; one daughter, Penny 
Morrison of Niceville, FL; one step son, Dennis Morrison of Bowling Spring, SC; 
one brother, Herman Murphy of Adel; one sister, Carolyn McGee of Nashville; 
three grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held February 26 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Boone-Lipsey 
Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Jack and Betty Joiner 
sang "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art."

 Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

 Pallbearers were Pat McGee, Marvin Murphy, III, Don McGee, Richard Murphy, 
Britt Carter, Clark Wheeler.

 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
