 Vicie Roach, 79, of Sparks died October 1, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical C
Center.
 Born July 10, 1933, to the late A.L. and Amanda Rentz Roberts, she was a 
homemaker and attended Concord Primitive Baptist Church. She was also preceded 
in death by her husband, Earl Lewis Roach, and two sons, Junior Roach and W
William Roach.
 Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Sheila Roach of 
Sparks, Ricky and Charlene Roach, all of Nashville, Dean and Debbie Roach of 
Alapaha, daughter-in-law, Amy Roach; brother, Charles Roberts of Sparks; 
sister, Mattie Exum of Sparks; grandchildren, Wendy and Chris Yawn, Andy Roach, 
Melissa and Justin McMillan, Kathy and Billy Jamison, Troy and Mary Roach, 
Shelby and Brad Mallory, Laura and James Smith, Edward Roach, Brian and Ellen 
Odom, Lisa and Craig Hamner, and Jamie Odom; 27 great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held October 4 at Concord Primitive Baptist Church with Elde
Elder Wendell  Horten officiating. Musical selections were "Amazing Grac
Grace," "Rock of Ages," "Precious Memories," and "We Shall Sleep, But not Fore
Forever," sung by the church choir.
 Interment was held in the church cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Andy Roach, Edward Roach, Troy Roach, Jimmy Exum, Ja
Jamie Exum, Ashton Roberts.
 Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Rentz, Brad Mallory,Jonathan Exum.
 Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
