 Hilton "R.H." Roberts, 89, of Sparks died August 18, 2005 at his residence.

 Born December 1, 1915 in Tift County to the late Jesse and Willie Mae 
Benefield Roberts, he was a retired farmer and member and deacon of Spring Hill 
Primitive Baptist Church. He was married to the late Velma Ray Roberts.

 Survivors include son, Rev. Terrell Roberts of Tifton; three daughters, Vivian 
Storey of Sparks, Marilyn Bennett of Adel, Carolyn Stubbs of Hahira; four 
brothers, Ethridge Roberts of Valdosta, Denver Roberts and Vernon Roberts, both 
of Naylor, Everett Roberts of Nashville; sister, Vernell Barrentine of Sparks; 
11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

 Funeral services were held August 20 at 2 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home 
Chapel with Elders Dwight Marshall, Buck Woods and C.E. Barton officiating.

 Interment was in Spring Hill Church Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were grandsons, Lennis Storey, Craig Bennett, Andy Parrish, 
Stanley Storey, Joe Stalvey, Troy Philpot, Stacy Stubbs, Greg Branch, Donnie 
Philpot, Larry Stout, Terence Womack.

 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
