 Elton Singletary, 72, of Adel died October 24, 2012, at his residence.
 Born September 2, 1940, to the late Amos and Claudie Hal Singletary, he was a m
member of Beulah Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Sue Singletary of Adel; daughters, Amber Sue 
Singletary of Tifton and Glenda Singletary; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie 
and Debbie Singletary of Hinesville; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and 
Cleon Brown of McCrae; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was p
preceded in death by one brother, Bennie Singletary and three sisters, Betty R
Ring Luke, Pat Gray and Mary Moore.
 Funeral services were held October 27 at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church with 
the Revs. Kenneth Mathews and Donnie Sloan officiating. Music selections 
were "Go Rest High on That Mountain" by Johnathan Wells, "Someday Soon" by Jo
Joyce Cantrell and Rev. Kenneth Mathews, "If I Leave Before You Do" by CD an
and "Old Ship of Zion" by Joyce Cantrell with pianist, Linda Mathews.
 Interment followed at the church cemetery with the Revs. Robert Winter and F
Fred Evers officiating.
 Active pallbearers were James Stone, David Folds, Petrome Harris, Jernato Har
Harris, Wesley Thompson, Gerald Griffin.
 Honorary pallbearers were W. H. Thigpen, Buddy Cantrell, Wayne Barber, Mark Ro
Rowan, Gene Sumner, Dave Brown, Brian Moore, Appollo Harris, John Schaffer, Ken Wi
Williams.
 Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
