 Richard W. VanBrackle, 81, of Lenox died November 16, 2013 at Cook Senior L
Living Center in Adel.
 He was born October 17, 1932 in Cook County to the late Grace Williams and 
Alpha Harris VanBrackle, Sr. He was of the Methodist faith, a retired car s
salesman and served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
 He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Sandra VanBrackle; 
nephew and his wife, Russell and Bonnie VanBrackle; niece, Karen VanBrackle; 
great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Skyler, Jaculyn, Jothan and Jennipher
VanBrackle
VanBrackle, all of Lenox; several cousins and friends.
 Funeral services were held November 18, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Boone 
Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Marlette officiating. “Amazing Grace” was played du
during the service.
Interment was in Crossroads Church Cemetery.
Mike VanBrackle, Jack Howell, Dr. Chris Gall, Mike Wilson, Greg Henderson serve
served as pallbearers.
 Boone Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
