He was born November 28, 1949 in Cecil to Reba Miley Webb of Sparks and the late Wiley Richman Webb He retired from Nashville Mills after 38 years and a attended Grace Independent Church in Moultrie. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Bonnie Webb of Sparks; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Edward and Amanda Webb of Florida and Tony Gerald and Wanda Webb of Nashville; daughter, Tina Marie Webb of Norman Park; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Sandra Webb of Cecil; five sisters, Grace Burt and Mary Ann Johnson, both of Moultrie, Pam Burgess of Ellenton, Barbara Ellen Evans of Nashville, and Lisa Futch of Tifton; six grandchildren, Jessica Webb, Laura Webb, Cody Webb, Trae Barringer, Joshua Ray and Dakota Webb; one great-grandchild, Caellum Gabiel Ray. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Wiley Webb and Phil Laran Webb; s sister, Dorothy Manus Funeral services were held November 24 at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Chris McPherson officiating. Music selection by Eric Rountree were ”Beulah Land” and and “Amazing Grace.” Interment was in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joshua Ray, Trae Barringer, William Webb, Tommy Webb, Wayne Webb, Webb, Lynn Johnson. Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
