 Kenneth Williams, 59, of Adel died Nov. 6, 2008 of South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta after a lengthy illness.
 Born Aug. 25, 1949 in Brooks County to the late M. L. and Melba Taylor 
Williams, he lived most of his life in Cook County, was a farmer and member of 
Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
 He is survived by his wife, Shirley Register Williams of Adel; one daughter 
and son-in-law, Mandy and Ryan Bednar of Holly Springs, NC; grandchildren, 
Adison and Reagan Bednar, Holly Springs; four brothers, Fay Williams and Jerry 
Williams, both of Valdosta, Gene Williams, Lakeland, Ted Williams, Barney. He 
was preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Williams.
 Funeral services were held Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home 
Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Parker and Gary James officiating.
 Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Ashley Williams, Scotty Horne, Doug Bennett, David 
Williams, Chip Joiner, Tommy Martin.
 Honorary pallbearers were Steve Register, Joe Lewis, Johnny Register, Jackson 
Mixon, Jeff Shealey.
 Boone-lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
