MILITIA. 1835 Vol. 1 -- Page: 148 Sequential Number: 092 Full Title: AN ACT to authorize the Justices of the Inferior Courts of Floyd and Cass counties to alter and regulate the bounds of the militia districts in said counties, and to add Gwinnett county to the second brigade, eleventh division of Georgia militia. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the justices of the inferior courts of the county of Floyd, or a majority of them, be, and they are hereby vested with full powers to alter and regulate the bounds of the militia districts in said county, in the same manner and to the same extent as heretofore exercised by the militia officers of said county -- any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
