Georgia    Coweta County.
	   This Indenture made the 21st  day of November in the year of Lord one thousand Eight 
hundred and ninety six between Mrs M E Bridges of the County of Coweta of the one part and R 
W Hendrix of the County of Coweta  of the other part. Witnesseth That the said Mrs M E 
Bridges for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred and fifty five dollars in hand paid at 
or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
have granted, bargained, sold aliened, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents does 
grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm  unto the said R W Hendrix his heirs and assigns, 
all the west half of lot of land No One hundred and Eleven (111) Except twenty five acres in the 
shape of a square in the south west corner the said west half in the fifth District of said County 
said lot being the one where Mat Smith lived in (1894) said land being bounded on the south by 
said twenty five acres and H M Arnold and on the North by lands formerly owned by S J Arnold 
To have and to hold The said bargained premises with all and singular the rights members and 
appurtenances thereto appertaining to the own proper use, benefit and behoof of the said R W 
Hendrix his heirs, executors administrators and assigns, in fee simple And the said Mrs M E 
Bridges the said bargained premises unto the said R W Hendrix his heirs executors, 
administrators and assigns against the said Mrs M E Bridges her heirs executors and 
administrators and against all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and 
forever defend by virtue of these presents  In witness whereof The said Mrs M E Bridges has 
hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal and delivered these presents the day and year first 
above written

Personally came before the undersigned authority, J P Cates who on oath says that he saw Mrs M
