This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book O, page 95 - 96 State of Georgia } This Indenture made this twenty fifth day of November in the year of Lord Coweta County } eighteen hundred and seventy two between George A Broom of the one part and H H Fry of the other part both of said state and county Witnesseth that the said A Broom for and in consideration of the sum of Sixteen hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said H H Fry his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the second district of said county containing one hundred two and eighty four acres more or less the same being all of lot ninety (?) one hundred and forty one that lies on the east side of the creek except seven acres in the south east corner and thirteen acres off of lot number one hundred and forty eight off of the north west corner of said lot and one acre more or less off of lot number one hundred and forty said acres of land lies near the south west corner whereon the said G A Brooms residence now is to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto the said H H Fry his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining to his and their own proper use benefit behoof forever in fee simple And the said G A Broom for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said H H Fry the right and title thereof will warrant and forever defend against themselves and against the Claims of all other persons whatever In witness whereof the said G A Broom hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above writen Signed Sealed and delivered in presents of us George A Broom W P Broom Osbon Linch N P & ex officio J P Recorded March 19th 1877 E C Palmer Clerk
