Fry of the county and State aforesaid of the one part and Reubin Phillips of Coweta County John C. Phillips and James A. T. Phillips of Merriwether County all of the State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said John G. Fry for and in consideration of the Sum of Eight Hundred dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and conveyed & by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto the said Rubin John C. & James A. T. Phillips their heirs and assigns all that Lot or Tract of land Containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less Known and distinguished as lot Eighty five (85) Situate lying and being in the second district of Coweta County and State aforesaid having such having such shapes form and marks as appears by a plot and survey of the same to hold the said lot or tract of Land together with all and Singular the rights & members and appertenances thereof whatsoever unto the said Reubin John C. and James A. T. Phillips their heirs and assigns to their Proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple and I John G Fry for myself my heirs and assigns will ever warrant and defend the right and title of the above bargained land and premises unto the said Reubin John C. James A. T. Phillips their heirs and assigns in testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written Signed sealed and delivered in the presense of Joseph Crockett John G Fry Henry Henderson Georgia } Personally came before me Thomas Roberts (?) an Acting Justice Merriwether County } in and for said county Joseph Crockett and after being Duly Sworn deposeth & saith that he saw John G.
