Harrison Administrator Debonis non on the Estate of Samuel Garner deceased of the one part George Hendrix of the other part both of the County and State aforesaid Witnesseth that Whereas by an order granted by the Honorable Court of Ordinary of Said County previous notice of application having been given agreeable to the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made & provided to Said Hillsbury R. Harrison administrator as aforesaid to sell a certain Lot or part or portion of a Lot of Land belonging to the Estate of the said Samuel Garner deceased situated lying and being in the fourth district of said county being the west half of Lot number Twenty three containing One hundred one and & quarter acres more or less. After the sale of said land was duly advertised in conformity to Law the same was put up & Exposed to Sale to the highest bidder at the door at the Court House at Newnan said County within the legal hours of sale this day it being the first Tuesday in this Instant December Where the same was knocked off to George Hendrix he being the highest & best bidder at the price or sum of One hundred & Sixty Seven Dollars. Now for and in consideration of the said sum of One hundred & Sixty Seven cash in hand paid to the said Hillsbury R. Harrison Admr as aforesaid by the said George Hendrix at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Hillsbury R. Harrison Admr. as aforesaid hath granted bargained and Sold & doth by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said George Hendrix his heirs and assigns the said part of Lot of Land number Twenty three (23) being the west half of Said Lot in the fourth district of said County with all the right members and appertaining thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the said George Hendrix his heirs Executors Adminstrators & assigns to his & their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple In witness Whereof the said Hillsbury R. Harrison admr as aforesaid hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written
