This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book O, page 97 State of Georgia } This Indenture made this twenty seventh day of September in the year Coweta County } of Our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty nine between George Hendricks of the one part and Henry H Fry of the other part both of the county and State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said George Hendricks for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Henry H Fry at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Henry H Fry his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Coweta and State of Georgia known And distinguished in the plan as follows beginning at the South East Corner of Lot number one hundred and eighteen running due north to the original thence west to the Original Corner thence South twenty chains to a corner in the branch or to the fence on the line thence East to a corner in the plantation twenty four chains and Eighty links thence south to the original line thence East to the beginning Also beginning at the North West Corner of lot number one hundred and nineteen and running East twenty rods thence South One hundred and twelve Rods thence due West to the original line which is twenty Rods thence to the beginning the above described lands all lying and being in the second District of Coweta County Containing One hundred and fifty One acres more or less One acre commencing at a certain Hickory Tree to be in the centre of said acre for a Grave Yard is Excepted known and distinguished in the plan above given together with all the privileges thereto appertaining to have and to hold all and singular the premises aforesaid with all the rights members and appurtenances to the said Henry H Fry his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever in fee simple and I the said George Hendricks will forever warrant and defend from myself my heirs Executors administrators and assigns and from every person whatever unto the said Henry H Fry his heirs Executors administrators and assigns for their own proper use benefit and behoof forever In testimony whereof I the said George Hendricks have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date first before written Signed Sealed and delivered in presents of George Hendricks Wm H Stokes Batty H Mitchell Ordy Recorded March 19th 1877 E C Palmer Clerk
