Hendrix of the other part both of the County & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said George W Hendrix for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained & sold & conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said George W Hendrix his heirs and assigns the East half of Lot Number thirty Eight (38) situate lying and being in the second District of said County containing one hundred one & one fourth acres more or less. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of Land unto him the said George W Hendrix his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appertenances thereunto belonging up or in any wise appertaining to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple And the said George Hendrix for himself his heirs executors & administrators the said bargained premises unto the said George W.
