State of Georgia   Coweta County      
         This Indenture made this Sixth day of November in the year of our 
Lord Eighteen Hundred & sixty six between Robert W. Hendrix Administrator of 
the goods & chattels rights & credits & which wise of George W Hendrix 
deceased of the first part and Nancy J.  Hendrix of the second Witnesseth 
that whereas the Ordinary of Said County of Coweta did at his court holden in 
the month of September last past empower the said Robert W Hendrix as 
Administrator as aforesaid to Sell & dispose of all the real Estate of the 
George W Hendrix deceased & whereas the said Robert W Hendrix having given 
public notice of Said Sale for forty days in the Newnan Herald a gazette 
published in the city of Newnan & said county thereof complied with all the 
requisitions of the law therein did on the first Tuesday of this present 
month proceed to expose the two thirds of lot of land hereinafter described 
for sale at the court House in said county between the hours  limited by law 
for such  sales & whereas the said Nancy J. Hendrix bought said part of lot 
of land at & for the sum of Eight hundred Twenty six & 75/100 Dollars which 
was the highest sum bid for the same at said sale   Now the said Robert W 
Hendrix administrator as aforesaid in consideration of the said sum of  Eight 
hundred & Twenty six & 75/100 Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof 
is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold, aliened & conveyed & by 
these present does grant bargain sell alien & convey unto the said Nancy J.  
Hendrix her heirs & assigns Two thirds of a lot of land in the second 
district of said County of Coweta known in the plan of said county as lot 
number Sixty nine (No 69) the widows dower excepted in the said second 
District of said county to have & to hold said premises to the said Nancy J. 
Hendrix her heirs & assigns forever 
In testimony whereof the said Robert W Hendrix administrator as aforesaid  
hath hereto set his hand & seal this day & year above written
