H. Coweta County } Hindsman for himself and ward Michael L Hindsman George S Stevens and wife Lucy A Stevens John H McWilliams and wife Mariah C McWilliams heirs at Law of Michael Hindsman deceased of said county of the first part and Sarah A L Hindsman of the same place of the second part Witnesseth that whereas the Heirs at Law of said Deceased agree amoung themselves the said Sarah A L consenting thereto for herself and ward John H Hindsman to sell and dispose of at public outcry the lands included in the Homestead of said Deceased and whereas the Honorable Court of Ordinary of said has satisfied and confirmed said sale and whenever the said Sarah A L Hindsman bought the Tract or parcel of land herein of the described at and for the Sum of Eleven hundred and Seventy Six Dollars which was the higher sum bid for Said tract at said sale Now therefore said heirs at Law of the first part for and in consideration of the Sum Eleven hundred and Seventy Six Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained aliened sold and conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain and by these presents doth grant bargain (sic) alien sell and convey unto the said Sarah A L Hindsman her heirs and assigns all that trach or parcel of land being a portion of the Homestead set apart as aforesaid situate and lying in Grantvill Dist of said County containing Two hundred acres more or less known as Lot number in said Dist and bounded as follows on the North by the lands of John Hindsman on the East by the lands of Thomas Bigham one the South by the lands of Israel Hindsman and on the West by J H McWilliams To have and to hold said premises to her the said Sarah L Hindsman her heirs and assigns forever In testimony the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seal the day and year above written Signed Sealed Stamped B H Hindsman and delivered in presents of for self and ward J L Morris M.
