This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book L, page 234 Georgia } Coweta County } Whereas Mariah Hindsman late of said county departed this life intestate leaving a considerable Estate both real and personal and whereas all the heirs at Law are of age and whereas said Estate is free from debt and the heirs at Law (her) children do not wish to incur the delay and expense of an administration and whereas the heirs at Law at the division of the estate of Israel Hindsman late of said county deceased and husband of the said Mariah Hindsman gave three negroes to wit Sally Tempy & Silas to their mother the said Mariah to have & to hold during her life and whereas the said negroes are now a part of the property which is to be equally distributed amongst the heirs at Law of the said Israel Hindsman deceased and which are also the heirs at Law of the said Mariah Hindsman It is hereby agreed by the undersigned John Hindsman Peter Hindsman William Hindsman Israel Hindsman Elisha Hindsman Michael Hindsman & Roland Formby on the part of his wife Elizabeth Formby formerly Hindsman that all the property of whatever description that the said Mariah Hindsman did seized & possessed of as well as the aforesaid Negroes big Sally Tempy & Silas shall be equally divided amongst the aforementioned names and the undersigned do covenant & agree to stand to & abide by the division of the aforesaid property & do further covenant with each other & agree never to apply for letters of administration on the estate of the said Mariah nor to apply to any court to make any division or to correct any division which the said heirs at law may make of the aforesaid property In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & seals this Feb 17th 1859 his In presence of } John x Hindsman H.
