Witnesseth that Cary Hewin for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred & Eleven Dollars to me in hand paid at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold & conveyed & does by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said John McCollum his heirs & assigns a certain parcel of Land Lying in the North west corner of No (96) Ninety six in second Dist Coweta County Containing (43 ¾) Forty three & ¾ acres more or less which is distinguished by the lines & corners there laid out. To have and to hold said tract of parcel or Land unto him the said John McCollum his heirs & assigns together with all and singular the rights members & appertinences thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit & behoof in fee simple. And the said Cary Hewen for himself his heirs Executors administrators the said bargained premises and to the said John McCollum his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and titles thereof against themselves and against the claim of other persons whatsoever In Witness Whereof the said Cary Hewin hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date above written Signed sealed and delivered in the presents of his Test Sanders W.
