This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book J, page 250 State of Georgia} Coweta County } This Indenture made and entered into this twentieth day of August in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and fifty-three between Cary Hughens of said State and County of the one part and John H Hughens of the same place of the other part Witnesseth That the said Cary Hughens for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and Eighty dollars cash in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth remise release and forever quit claim to said John H Hughens his heirs and assigns all the right title interest claims of demand the said Cary Hughens has or may have had in and to South half Lot of Land number ninety Eight in the Second Land District of Coweta County agreeable to original survey containing one hundred one & one forth acres more or less with all the rights members and appurtenances to said half lot of land in any wise appertaining or belonging To have and to hold the said half lot of Land to the said John H. Hughens ______ written the said Cary Hughens nor his heirs nor any other person or persons claiming under him shall at any time hereafter by any way or means have claim ordinance (?) any right or title to the aforesaid half Lot of Land or its appertuances or any part thereof In testimony whereof the said Cary Hughens hath hereto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year above written Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of his James J.
