This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book M, page 755 Georgia Fulton County This indenture made and entered into this the Fifth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy between Eliza Johnson of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and Robert W Hendrix of the County and State of Georgia aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Eliza Johnson for and in consideration of the Sum of Three Hundred dollars to her in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Robert W Hendrix his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Coweta State of Georgia Said property consisting of a house and lot containing one half acre more or less in the city of Newnan Georgia adjoining the lot of P H Whitaker on the East and lot of John Doughertys Estate on the South and lot of Daniel Swint on the West and Mineral Spring Street on the North To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Robert W Hendrix his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to him and his own use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple.
