Witnesseth that the said James Land for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and does by these presents Bargain Sell and Convey unto the said John Madearis his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the Fourth District of Coweta County, being known and distinguished in the following said district by number one hundred & twelve or the South East half of said lot as much as lies on his side of the Creek down to a certain poplar near the field and the Creek and Mill pond and Mill and all the contents of that part of the land thereunto belonging. To have and to hold hereafter described tract of land unto him the said John Madearis his heirs and assigns together with all rights members and appurtenances to the said parcel of land or any wise belonging to his and their won proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said James land for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises together with the right title and possession thereof unto the said John madearis his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title himself against themselves and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever. In Testimony whereof the said James Land hath hereunto set his hand and affixed His seal this day and year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered In presence of James Land (seal) Thomas E.
