This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book H, page 648 State of Georgia } This Indenture made this the 22nd day of August in the year of our Lord Paulding County } 1848 between Alexander McKinzie of Gadson County Florida of the one part and George Hendrix of the County of Coweta County State of Georgia of the other part Witnesseth that the said Alexander McKinzie for and in consideration of the sum of seventy-five Dollars to him in hand paid at and upon the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said George Hendrix his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land situate lying & being in the county of Paulding twentieth District third section known and distinguished by Lot nine hundred nineteen (919) containing forty Acres more or less -- To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said George Hendrix his heirs & assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Alexander McKinzie for himself his heirs Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said George Hendrix his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the rite and title thereof against themselves and aginst the claim of all other persons whatever In Witness whereof the said Alexander McKinzie hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year above riten Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of Robert M Word H F Underwood Alex McKinzie John Underwood JIC Recorded August 18th 1849 Chas E Taft Dept Clk
