This Indenture made the 22nd day of January in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Four (1884) Between Mary A Simmerly of the County of Coweta of the one part and H. H. Fry of the County of Coweta of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Mary A. Simmerly for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred and thirty Seven & 50/100 Dollars in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said H. H. Fry his heirs and assigns all the west half of lot of land Number three Hundred and Six (306) in the First District of Said County of Coweta, except the fifteen acres thereof, situate in the North West Corner of the Same, sold off by Mary A Simmerly to John W Summers, and except also the 6 acres there sold by said Mary A Simmerly to Joseph Bussey, Said ten acres being bounded as follows, Commencing at the Corner of Fambrough & said Fry's land running due north to a stake, thence west to a post or stake, thence South to the public road leading from Senoia to Griffin, thence down said road to the starting point. Said boundaries including the house, Known as the Joseph Bussey house, said lot of land being the land bought by said Mary Simmerly of F. W. Baggarly and described in deed of said Baggerly to said Simmerly dated January 22nd 1866. To have and to hold the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereto appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said H. H. Fry heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns in Fee Simple. And the said Mary A. Simmerly the said bargained premises unto the said H. H. Fry his heirs, executors administrators and assigns against the said H. H. Fry his heirs, Executors, and Administrators and assigns against the said Mary Simmerly her heirs, executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents.
