This Indenture, Made the Ninth (9th) day of January, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety, between John B Willcoxon of the County of Coweta, of the one part, and R. W. Hendrix of the County of Coweta, of the other part, Witnesseth: That the said John B. Willcoxon for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy Eight ($78.00) Dollars to him in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell alien, convey, and confirm unto the said R. W. Hendrix, his heirs and assigns all Of a certain town lot being a part of land Lot Number Nine (9) in the fifth (5th) district of said county and Known according to the Pinson plat of east Newnan and bounded as follows, on the South by ___lly (?) on the North by land of N B Glover, Sixty (60) feet East by lot of Jack Hill and on the West by Lot of Elias Summers. Said lot containing one fourth of an acre more or less. To have and to hold the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereto appertaining, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said R. W. Hendrix, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, in fee- simple. And the said John B Willcoxon the said bargained premised unto the said R. W. Hendrix, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, against the said John B Willcoxon his heirs, executors, and administrators, and against all and every other person or persons, shall and will warrant and forever defend, by virtue of these presents. In witness whereof, the said John B Willcoxon has hereunto set his hand, affixed his seal, and delivered these presents the day and year first above written.
