This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book M, pages 422 Georgia } This Indenture made this the 13th day of Nov 1869 between Winston Coweta County } B Wood & his wife Mirah L Wood of the one part & Benjamin H Wright of the other part all of the state and county above written witnesseth that the said William B and his wife Mariah Wood for in consideration of the sum of fifteen hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land commencing at a stake on the new Atlanta Street a street running between the R. Alexander land and the land now owned by M. P. Kellogg running north 39 ½ rods thence to the west 13 ½ rods thence South to the new Atlanta Street thence east 13 ½ rods to the beginning corner being a part of lot No 40 in the 5th District of said county and also being a part of the 15 acres deeded J. Y. Alexander by Richard R Wotten the said described premicis containing 3 acres 1 rod & 13 reedes more or less together with the right members and appertanences to have and to hold the said premises with all the privileges thereunto pertaining to Benj. H. Wright his heirs and assigns and the said William B. and his wife Miriah Wood for themselves heirs and assigns Nor any persons claiming under them shall at any time hereafter have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appertainces or any part or parcel thereof and the William B and his wife Miriah L Wood will for themselves there heirs and assigns forever warrant and defend the right title and possession of the above described premises unto the said Benj H Wright his heirs and assigns in fee simple In witness whereof we hereunto set our hands and seals and delivered in presence of Jos.
