This file was contributed by: Beth Collins collins@negia.net ==================================================================== Coweta County Deed Book M, page 428 Georgia } This indenture made this the third day of January in the year of our Lord Coweta County } eighteen hundred & Seventy between Benjamin H Wright of said County & State of the one part & Moses P Kellogg of the same place of the other part Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty Dollars cash in hand paid by the said Moses P Kellogg to the said Benjamin H Wright the receipt whereof is acknowledged at & before the Signing Sealing & delivery of these presents the said Benjamin H Wright hath granted bargained & sold & doth by these presents doth grant bargane & sell unto the said Moses P Kelogg his heirs and assigns all that portion of lot of land number thirty nine in the fifth Dist of said County commencing at a certain fence corner on the original line of lots No thirty nine from No forty running North & South which is the recognized corner of said M P Kellogg land & & John W Powell land on lot No forty thence north eighty five & a half degrees west to a certain stake Sixteen chains thence due North to a certain stake four chains thence Due east to a certain stake fifteen chains & eighty three links fifteen chains & eighty links (sic) thence due North to the beginning corner five chains & thirty six links containing seven acres & a half of an acres more or less To have & to hold the said bargained premises together with all the rights members & appurtenances to the same in any maner appertaining & belonging unto the said Moses P Kellogg his heirs & assigns forever in fee simple and the said Benjamin H Wright for himself his heirs executors & administrators will warrant & forever defend the right & title the same unto him the said Moses P Kelogg his heirs executors & administrators against himself & themselves & all other persons whatsoever In testimony whereof the said Benjamin H Wright hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day and year above written Signed Sealed & Delivered in presents of P F Smith Benj H Wright James Doster S.
