Register Newnan, Ga. Sept. 884 Dearest Genia, I have just received your sweet letter and it is useless to say it was received and read with the greatest pleasure. We were so glad to hear from you. Mama is just like she was when you left “no better and no worse” my cold is some better. But I am not feeling well yet. We are having the best meeting going on that I ever attended. The crowds were so large that the church would not hold the people so they have built an harbor in town. You just ought to be here to go. I haven’t been but a few times. It is just impossible for me to get off often. I have so much to do. But Brother and Claude go to every meeting day and night - “Oh, Dearest Genia you don’t know how I missed you.” I am so lonely since you and Myrtis left. It is true I have seen the boys. Especially Mr. B. But that is not like having you with me. I was so very sorry to hear of your sickness and sincerely hope this letter will find you much improved if not entirely well. I went to the county Sunday to meeting with Mr. B. and had the nicest time imaginable. I took dinner at Mr. Beavers Fathers .....there were 8 boys there for dinner and 3 girls and a jolly crowd it was too. I don’t believe I ever had any more fun in my life. Gena Mr. Lester is very sick. And has been ever since you went home. I am very sorry. And hope he will be well soon.....you spoke of me going to see you when Brother John went this fall. I will be glad to go if it is convenient and I can get off. But, you know how it is about me leaving home. If I possibly can and Mr. Lester will be kind enough to carry me I will go. But if I don’t you will know the reason and not become affended at me. You must come back Christmas. And I promise you a good time. Do come. You spoke of Myrtis writing. She wrote me about a half dozen lines the other day and that is all I have heard from her. I swear she has forgotten us already. Well Dearest Genia as I have written about all I can think about, I will close before I tire you. Mama, Brother and Mande (?) join me in love to you give my love to your Mama and Miss Mollie And write soon to your Loving Friend, Jessie E.
