The Enterprise Gazette August 17, 1905
Carmel.
John Rogers and family of near McDonough, visited relatives here this week.

The meeting at Mt. Zion is in progress this week, Bro. E. S. Atkinson, of 
Camilla, is assisting Dr. Cousins, and delivering some fine sermons.  

C. H. Burton, of Atlanta, was with Carmel friends and relatives a short while 
last week.

W. T. Callahan and family, of Haralson, ??????   ??? Mt. Zion Sunday.

Will Stalworth and cousin, Miss McKibben, from near Locust Grove, are the guest 
of L. M. Stalworth.

Lurn Lavander and wife left Sunday for Barnesville, where they will visit the 
latters mother.

On August the 6th Noah Wilson and Miss Clyde Bell, of Clem, were happily 
married.  We extend them much joy and happiness through life.

We are glad to have Bro. Sears with us in the Mt. Zion meeting.

Mrs. S. P. Love, of Atlanta, is the guest of the family of J. J. Caldwell.

We are glad to report Mr. Joe Longino greatly improved.

Rush Powledge and family visited his parents at St. Charles Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Longino spent several days in our community recently.
