R. Evans, near Grantville, Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 9. Promptly at 3 o'clock the "Wedding March" was rendered by Miss Daisy Polk, when the bride and groom entered the parlor, preceeded by two couples, Miss Sallie Thompson with Mr. Bert Haynes, and Miss Ruth Haynes with Mr. Emmett Young. The home was beautifully decorated with holly, bamboo and ferns. The bride was lovely in a tailored suit of gray. Rev. R. M. Stevens, of Sharpsburg, officiated. After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed a delightful luncheon at the home of the bride's parents. The following day the couple left for the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson, where they will make their home in the future.
