April 26, 1901 Messrs. Lon Grimes and Jesse Reese visited friends at Bowden last Saturday and Sunday. Miss Letha Starr, who is attending the city public schools in Newnan, visited her parents at this place on Saturday and Sabbath last. Mr. Joe Brooks, of Corinth, attended preaching at Elim last Sabbath and took dinner with Mr. Buel Hubbard. Mr. R. H. Eady and family, of Enon Grove, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Clark, last Saturday. Miss Annie Hubbard left yesterday morning to enter Walker High School in Newnan. We wish her much success. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Wiggins visited their sick mother, Mrs. Brazill, at LaGrange, last Saturday. Mr. Allen Beavers left Monday for Texas, where he has secured a position as salesman. Hope he will be pleased with his new home. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Millians is quite sick this week. Mr. and Mrs. Len Millians visited Mr. and Mrs. Pitman, of your city, last Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. W. C. Luckie, of Dresden, visited friends and relatives here last on Sunday last. Mrs. Martha Brown is visiting her son, Mr. Joe Brown, in Newnan this week.
