The marriage, which not wholly unexpected, was quite a surprise. No one knew that it was to occur so soon and only Mr. W. N. Smith and Mrs. Mather were witnesses to the nuptials. Rev. J. H. Mather Performed the ceremony. Mrs. BIBB is one of the most beautiful women in this section and charming in her manner. She was formerly a Miss Boyd of Thomas county. Mr. PARKER is a member of the firm of J. M. & C. W. Parker, clothing merchants. He is a young gentleman of finest character and highest worth and is very popular throughout the community. Mr. and Mrs. PARKER will leave in a week for the North, where they will spend ten days traveling.
