The people ought to give one week to the Lord and thank him for his many blessings. E. Pitman visited his mother in Newnan recently. Misses Davis and Walker, two pretty young ladies of Macon, are the charming guests of Mrs. Ella H. Brown and family this week. We are having fine seasons and crops are looking fine. Ralph and Rex Brown gave a barbecue at Wynn's pond Tuesday evening in honor of Misses Davis and Walker. Harris Hanes, who has been quite sick, is visiting his mother in the Burg. Mr. Griffin, from Temple, is visiting Mrs. Annie Wattt and family at this writing. J. G. North, one of Macon's clever and popular young men, is visiting home folks here. N. B.
