Resolutions.
In Memory of Sister Susan Hunter Addy.
Our church record shows that Sister Addy, who at that time was Miss Susan 
Hunter, was baptized into fellowship with this church on the 4th day of 
October, 1851.  The Great Head of the church saw fit to take her to Himself on 
the 26th day of February, 1901.  We are authorized, from a bible view, to say 
that Christians like Sister Addy never die.  She gave her Lord fifty years and 
four months of service, and on that February day she went to sleep in Jesus, 
and in that great day will awake "in His likeness" and be forever with Him in 
glory.

Sister Addy was truly a helpmeet to her husband; a good, kind and indulgent 
mother, and was of great usefulness in her community.  All these will miss her, 
and we tender them our heartfelt sympathy.  Our church will miss her also.  
While she lived some distance away, she always came when it was possible for 
her to do so.  She never failed to help support her pastor, and to contribute 
for missions and other objects in which the church is interested.  We trust 
that the church will meditate upon her fifty years of service to the Lord, and 
that we will resolve to do more in carrying on Christ's Kingdom in the world; 
that our clerk furnish the family of our departed sister with a copy of this 
memorial, and that the same be recorded in our church-book.
