Mrs. Ruth Boynton Beers

Mrs. Ruth Boynton Beers, 94, of Florence, Alabama and formally of Newnan, died 
Monday, May 28, 2001 in Florence.

Mrs. Beers was born August 10, 1906 in Newnan.  She was an elementary school 
teacher for 40 years and a member of Central Baptist Church.  Her Husband, 
Lynwood S. Beers Sr. and he son Lynwood S. Beers, Jr. preceded Mrs. Beers in 
death.

A funeral was held at graveside Thursday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill 
Cemetery.  Dr. Joel Richardson officiated.

Pallbearers were Frank Barron, Bobby Beers, Frank Farmer, Hugh Farmer III, 
David Reynolds Jr. and Harold Barron.

Surviving are her sister, Julia Davis of Gulfport. Miss.; her daughter-in-law 
Joann Beers of Florence, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ruth Boynton Beers was the daughter of Gaines A. Boynton and Nancy Alah 
Herndon Boynton.
