Mrs. Gaines Boynton, of the Fourth district died Sunday morning at the home of 
Mr. Jim Ball, in this city, after a protracted illness.  Her demise occurred 
upon the third anniversary of the death of her husband, the late G. A. 
Boynton, and is much lamented by all who knew her.  She is survived by six 
daughters, the oldest being Mrs. Jim Ball, of Newnan.  The funeral took place 
Monday morning, at Elim, services being conducted by Rev. F. J. Amis.

Mrs. Gaines Boynton was Nancy Alah Herndon, daughter of Preston Anderson Horn 
Herndon and Ann Jones Amis Herndon.
