The death of Mr. Harry H. Fry Friday morning was an event for which this community was not looking. Very few knew of his illness. He was taken sick with inflammation of the bowels and stomach eight days previous and he was dying when his friends in Newnan heard of it. Mr. Fry was a hard working, thrifty farmer who had succeeded well in life. He was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist church, seven miles south of Newnan, and had the confidence of the people. At the age of fifty-three years he leaves a wife and nine children, who are fortunately well provided for, so far as regards a support. The burial services were conducted at the neighborhood cemetery by Rev. J. H. Hall in the presence of a large audience, a number of whom were from Newnan, Grantville and other places. Dr. Hornady, the pastor, was absent from home and therefore could not be present. We tender sympathy to the bereaved family.
