Mr. Herndon

Geter Edward Herndon, 96, Austell, died Oct. 30.  He was a native of Coweta 
County and a retired farmer.

Funeral Services were conducted at the Bishop and Poe Chapel on Nov. 1, with 
the Rev. Tom Gullatt officiating.  Interment was in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Herndon is survived by his wife, the former Emma Gullatt; two sons, 
Forrest H. Herndon of Atlanta and Geter Abner Herndon of Detroit; a grandson, 
five granddaughters and a number of nieces and nephews.


Additional Comments:
Geter Edward Herndon was born November 9, 1870.  He was the son of Preston 
Anderson Horn Herndon and Ann Jones Amis Herndon.
