Obituary of Mrs. Archy Solomon Hutchens nee Harriet Wood
We are pained to announce the death of Mrs. Solomon Hutchens of Welcome, ages 
66 years, whose illness was mentions in the laft issue of THE HERALD AND 
ADVERTISER. She was partially paralized about a month ago, and never 
recovered from the stroke. Her death occured Thursday afternoon. The funeral 
took place on Friday, services being conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. T. 
Eakes, assisted by Rev. F. J. Amis.

Archy Solomon Hutchens' obit was published on 11/1/1909 and Mrs. Archy 
Solomon Hutchens' obit was published on 12/22/1899, making it improbable that 
he predeceased her. Evidently there is a mistake in one of the dates. The 
cemetery stone shows that she died first. I do not think he ever remarried. 
They are both buried at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church in the Welcome Community.
