The friends of Miss Rowena Jacobs will be pained to hear of her death, at her 
father’s home in LaGrange, on  Jan. 18th. She fell a victim to that fatal 
malady, consumption.  She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus 
Jacobs, and was just blooming into beautiful womanhood. She was a lovely 
girl, 17 years of age, and was the light of her home……
