The Newnan Herald    Thursday, March 26, 1953

   John Thomas Justiss, of 72 Greenville Street, died at Newnan Hospital 
Wednesday March 25.  A native of Meriwether County, he was 78 years of age.  
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Annie Speer Justiss, four sons, Letson and 
Starling Justiss,  both of Newnan, Haygood Justiss of Grantville, and Russell 
Justiss of Carrollton, and five grandchildren.  
   Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at Hillcrest Chapel 
at 3:00, the Rev. R. P. Segars and the Rev. Carey Barker officiating.  
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, with Hillcrest Chapel in charge of 
arrangements.
