MERIWEATHER Aged Hillsboro Woman Whose Death Was Mentioned Yesterday Buried Wednesday. Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Sue Meriweather, whose death was mentioned in Tuesday's Mirror were held at the residence of her daughter Mrs. J. B. Evans, at 128 North Covington Street, at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Conducted by Rev. T. S. Barcus. Interment was in the old cemetery with Marshall & Marshall in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were W. T. Smith, Guy Collison, Hugh Smith, J. J. Miller, J.L. Dunlap and Mr. Sparks. Mrs. Meriwether was born in Coweta County, Georgia, on Nov. 16, 1853. She came to Texas and to Hillsboro many years ago and has since been a resident of this city. She professed religion early in life and has been a devoted Christian for more than fifty years. In all her relations of life she was a most excellent woman and enjoyed the esteem of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, R. S. Meriwether, one brother in Georgia and the following children: Mrs. J. B. Evans of Hillsboro, Mrs. W. J. Daniel of York, Ala., Mrs. D.E. DeLong of Frankston, Texas, Miss Beatrice Meriweather and B. H. Meriwether of New York City.
