D. Hanes, 26 Gould St. S. E. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Bethel Baptist Church in Redan. The Rev. J. W. Fields and the Rev. J. L. King will officiate. Burial will be in the churchyard. A native of DeKalb County, Mrs. Martin had lived there and in Atlanta most of her life. She was the widow of J. A. Martin, a truck farmer of Redan. She was an active member of the Decatur Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, J. Z., Emory and C. A. Martin of Atlanta, J. L Martin of Decatur, and W. W. Martin of Richmond VA; two daughters, Mrs G. C. Hanes and Mrs E. D. Hanes of Atlanta; 25 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
