The funeral occurred from the residence on Greenville Street Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock, the service being conducted by Rev J R King. The interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, with Masonic ceremonies. Mr Moore was born in Newberry Co SC and at the time of his death was 71 years of age. He removed to Coweta County in 1866, and located in the Second District, where he continued to reside until about two years ago. He is survived by his wife and five children – Mrs J H Dominick, Chappell’s SC; Mrs L D Boozer, Kinard SC; Mrs F H Lythgo, Auburn AL; Messrs. R C Moore and L L Moore, Newnan GA. For many years Mr Moore was one of Coweta County’s most successful Planters.
