Harrison Nixon Dies

Senoia, Ga., June 12 -- (Special) Harrison Nixon, aged 96, died at the home of 
his son, W. A. Nixon, at 11 o'clock Monday evening.  Funeral services were held 
at Bethel Tuesday at 3 o'clock.   He was the oldest citizen of this section, 
and is survived by several sons and daughters.

Note: Harrison did not have a son named  W. A. Nixon, however, he had a nephew 
named William Asbury Nixon, son of Harrison's brother, Samuel.

Senoia is in Coweta Co., Georgia.

He was born 17 May 1827 in Walton Co., Georgia to Joseph Nixon & 
Martha "Patsey" Ward.  Harrison is my husband's 3X Great-grandfather.
