Six Soldiers, Two Georgia Men, Die at Camp Gordon

The deaths of six Camp Gordon soldiers yesterday afternoon announced at the 
medical offices in camp headquarters.  The deaths occurred at the base 
hospital.  They are as follows:

Private Floyd Ingram, Fifth Replacement regiment, Battleboro, Vt.; Bennie 
Lamineck, Second Replacement regiment, Midland City, Ala.; James Lee, First 
Replacement regiment, Dawson, Ga.; BEN L. NIXON, First Replacement regiment, 
Senoia, Ga.; William Farrell, Fifth Replacement regiment, New York city; Fulton 
Reynolds, Fifth Replacement regiment, Earlville, Ala.

The large national army cantonment at Camp Gordon, which opened in July 1917, 
was located in Chamblee, northeast of Atlanta, and was the training site of the 
famous Eighty-second All-American Division. The division included men from 
several different states, but Georgians made up almost half its number.
