She was the widow of the late Richard M. North, who was a prominent citizen of Senoia and Coweta county. Mrs. North's family is one of the oldest and best known of the state of Georgia. The old Bridges homestead, which was built in colonial times on land purchased from the Indians, was for many years one of the county's showplaces. She is survived by three sons, John T. North and Emmett L. North, who are well known citizens of Atlanta, and Roy M. North, of Chicago, who holds a responsible federal position; two sisters, Mrs. McLean, of Woolsey, and Mrs. Jones of York, Ala.; a brother, Benjamin Bridges, of Sharpsburg, Coweta county; several grandchildren and a number of other relatives. The funeral will be from the Senoia Methodist church, of which she was a member for many years, at 10 o'clock this morning, and interment in the cemetery there. Mrs. North had been an invalid for several years, but formerly had been an active factor in church, civic, and charitable affairs, both in Senoia and Atlanta. - - - In same issue: NORTH - The friends of Mrs. Richard M. North of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis McLain, of Woolsey, Ga.; Mrs. Gena Jones, of York, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bridges, of Sharpsburg, Ga., are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. Richard M. North this (Wednesday) morning at 10 o'clock from the Senoia Methodist church, Senoia, Ga. Interment in Senoia cemetery. The remains will be taken this morning at 7:50 o'clock via the A. B. & C. Ry. Harry G. Poole, funeral director. Additional Comments: Daughter of Thomas W. Bridges & Elizabeth Moses. Born 3 Aug 1856. Married Richard Marcus North on 12 Feb 1874 in Coweta Co., Ga.
