STEPHENS was burned to death at her home in Cleburne county, Alaama on Friday last. She was engaged, it is said, in burning trash and leaves around the yard when her clothing caught fire and burned her fatally. The unfortunate lady was a daughter of Mr. Alston BAILEY of Coweta and a sister of Mrs. J.G. DAVENPORT of this county. She left two small children. Her husband, in trying to save her, got both hands badly burned, the left one terribly.
